Other Names Brocchi's Cluster, Al Sufi Cluster, The Coathanger |
Data |
Magnitude:5.2 Right ascension:19:25:24.00 |

Binocular |
This asterism, which looks like an upside down coathanger, was long thought to be a cluster. Recent data from the Hipparcos satellite seems to indicate that this group of stars is not a cluster, but simply an asterism. Either way it's a cool looking object in binoculars. A telescope doesn't show the whole extent of the asterism.
